- Wendy supported updated fees and charges for cost recovery, increasing reserves for aging infrastructure renewal, and establishing reserves, surplus, and investment policies.
- Complementing the Asset Management Bylaw that council adopted in Wendy’s first term, council introduced the Strategic Infrastructure Investment Program (SIIP) to plan for asset renewal, rather than taking on more debt and increasing taxes.
- Wendy supported updates in DCC rates and implemented the new ACCs program, to fund growth related amenities, rather than funding from tax increases.
